I wanted attention and then felt ashamed when the truth felt heavy

I posted something vague so people would ask if I was okay, then felt embarrassed when they actually did. I know people may judge it from the outside, but living inside it felt more complicated. If nothing else, writing it down makes it feel less hidden.
